Terms of Service

delapan is a tool that builds and maintains knowledge bases by researching and ingesting sources into embedded, deduplicated findings, which can be tapped into an AI assistant conversation or served as a context API. We may add, change, or remove features over time, and features may change more often than usual while the Service is in beta.

delapan is currently invite-only: you need to be approved for the private beta to use the Service. You must provide accurate information and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity under your account. You must be old enough to form a binding contract in your jurisdiction.

The Service is currently provided free of charge, as an invite-only private beta. Paid plans do not currently exist, and nothing in these Terms creates a payment obligation. Because the Service is a beta, it may be unstable, may change or be discontinued without notice, and is provided without any service-level commitment.

If we introduce paid plans in the future, we will update these Terms — including billing, payment processing, and refund terms — before any charges apply to your account, and we will give you a reasonable opportunity to review the changes.

You agree not to:

• break the law or infringe others' rights;
• reverse engineer, resell, or abuse the Service except as allowed by law;
• overload, probe, or disrupt our systems;
• upload content you have no right to use; or
• use the Service to build a competing product by scraping our outputs.

You retain ownership of the content and data you submit ("Your Content"). You grant us a limited licence to host, process, and display Your Content solely to operate and improve the Service for you. We do not sell Your Content, and we do not use it to train our own models. See the Privacy Policy for how Your Content is processed by the third-party providers the Service relies on.

We and our licensors own the Service, its software, and branding. These Terms grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service while you have an active account.

The Service relies on third parties (e.g. hosting, database, AI model, and search providers — listed in the Privacy Policy). Your use may be subject to their terms. We are not responsible for third-party services.

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind to the maximum extent permitted by law. Outputs may be inaccurate; you are responsible for verifying them before relying on them.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid for the Service in the 3 months before the claim (which, during the free beta, is zero). We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

You may stop using the Service and close your account anytime. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms, to comply with law, or because the beta has ended. On termination, your right to use the Service ends; we may delete Your Content after a reasonable retention period.

We may update these Terms; material changes will be notified via the Service or email. Continued use after changes means you accept them.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Indonesia, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
